Administrative Assistant in Augusta, ME
Description
Our client, a local law firm specializing primarily in Probate Law, is seeking a pleasant professional for their part-time, permanent position. Typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, but some flexibility is possible. Current Notary Public license is ideal, but willingness and ability to obtain is a must. Position will entail the following:


Answer phones, meet/greet walk-in traffic
Typing forms; scanning and electronic filing
Daily trips to bank and post office
Triage bills
Order supplies
Balance checking accounts/writing checks/maintaining accurate log
Open/scan mail
Review and categorize emails
Other tasks as assigned

The ideal candidate will have experience with Quicken, but they are willing to train. Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail and an aptitude for working with numbers is a must.
