Administrative Asst.-Real Estate in Augusta, ME
Description
Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5;00, Contract to Hire position available in this local and well-known real estate firm! Position will entail:

-Using multiple web-based programs for; scheduling house showing appt's, entering
listings in the MLS, data entry, compliance management, preparation of real estate
forms, and advertising in various publications.
-Back-up on phones, meet/greet, front office tasks and assisting agents (may include
local travel)
-Assist Office Mgr. with projects including social media, print & digital marketing
projects, misc. advertising projects

Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with MS Office 365 ideal. Strong customer service and organizational skills are a must! Excellent benefit package offered upon hire!

Dining Coordinator/Stockroom Clerk in Unity, ME
Description
Bangor Area Staffing and Capital Area Staffing are recruiting a Dining Coordinator/Stockroom Clerk for our client in Unity, Maine.

This full-time, contract-to-hire position typical schedule is 8am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday yet must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Excellent benefits package once you go permanent. Pay is $13-14/hr.

Some duties to include:
• Receive and verify deliveries and organize and maintain all stock
• Perform full inventory of supplies weekly and prepare vendor orders
• Catalog invoices, gather data and create periodic reports of metrics, and create deposits for all monies.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety and sanitation regulations per Serve Safe.
• Assist with keeping the area clean and occasionally prepare food.
Requirements
• High school diploma required and one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training, including experience with institutional-level food service volumes.
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office software products and ability to effectively use spreadsheets and business software to collect, analyze, and report data.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Serve-Safe Certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.

Housing Counselor Specialist in Orono, ME
Description
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting for our non-profit client in Orono for a part- to full-time Housing Counseling Specialist. Our client's mission is to improve the social and economic conditions of the four Native American tribes in Maine - the Maliseet, Micmac, Passamaquoddy, and Penobscot - through education and investment in affordable housing, tribal business ventures and Native entrepreneurship.

This position would be responsible for providing one-on-one housing and financial counseling services, performing outreach in tribal communities, and participating in curriculum development and workshop presentations.

The Housing Counseling Specialist will be required to assist with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, including preparation of tax returns for tribal families. The Housing Counseling Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining data across all financial capability programs, and to assist with a variety of general office tasks.

The Housing Counseling Specialist will be expected to travel across the state to the tribal communities. This will result in overnight, evening, and occasionally weekend work.

The new employee will gain and maintain HUD Housing Counseling Certification within six months of employment, and the hoMEworks Certification within one year.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 /hour
Requirements
~Qualified applicants will have an Associate's Degree in Education, Social Services, Business, Finance or a related field, or the equivalent in education and related work experience.

~Knowledge of personal financial management, lending practices and procedures, general housing laws. Knowledge of Native American culture, preferred.

~Applicants must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation.

~Applicants should have strong communication and presentation skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft office and online research is also required.

~Native American ancestry preferred.
