Forklift Operator/Warehouse in Old Town, ME
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting for Forklift Operators with prior forklift and warehouse experience.

Current openings for shifts Monday - Thursday: (1) 4 am to 2:30 pm shift, (1) 8 am to 6:30 pm shift, and (1) overnight shift. Overtime Friday shifts during heavy production times.

Some tasks to include:

-accurately labeling and scanning products in and out of inventory,
-monitoring raw material stock levels (to notify management of low level or pending outage)
-receiving, moving, and storing incoming goods,
-checking and inspecting goods received for quality, and accuracy
-loading and unloading trucks in an efficient manner
-assist truckers with deliveries, shipments, and questions.
-work with Line Leaders for material deliveries and receipt of materials/finished

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.50 to $13.50 /hour
To be considered, applicants must have 3 years previous warehouse experience and forklift experience. Prefer candidates experienced with stand-up forklifts yet willing to train those with previous forklift experience.

Applicants must be able to work in a warehouse and/or cold environment, lift up to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs on occasion, stand for long periods, bend, reach, push, and pull.

Warehouse Position in Brewer, ME
Brewer, ME - Bangor Area Staffing is seeking candidates for a Warehouse Associate for a client, an area heating products distributor. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Some of the typical tasks to include: Picking, packing, and palletizing orders, forklift operation, light assembly and modifying or building pallets using power and pneumatic tools. Assist with delivery of products when needed.
Candidates must be able to work well independently and possess both a clean driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to do minor carpentry and use tools to modify/build pallets for boilers.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, crouch, reach, and grasp.

Previous warehouse experience required. Forklift and heating products knowledge is preferred, yet not required.
