Content Marketing Manager in Bangor, ME 04401
BASS is seeking qualified candidates for our client's Content Marketing Manager position. You will be charged with determining the best ways to represent our client’s identities online through creative web content, email and social media. It's very much a people-oriented job, involving development of concepts for marketing campaigns. It also involves working with internal and external clients, pitching ideas, and understanding client needs. Much of the position requires sourcing, developing, reviewing and revising content including text and imagery. At times, we will require internal development of content, and at other times, a content marketing manager will be responsible for recruiting and managing additional internal and external resources to develop content for our clients.
For this position, you must be a creative problem solver and have the ability to work with clients to help them articulate their messages to their customers. You are an energizing person, not only with your work but with your work ethic and style. You have the ability to draw people together to share ideas so that they feel they own it together. You are not cynical or inflexible -- you are about being part of something as great as you are.

-Oversee the execution of creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, budget and schedule
-Meet with clients to determine requirements
-Manage your own schedule and the schedules of others
-Review work and provide feedback as needed
-Develop, source and present completed work to clients and obtain client sign offs
-Interact with clients through their full life-cycle with the company from initial contact through development, launch and beyond.
-Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in online marketing
-Excellent communication and writing skills in English

Prefer Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in new media, marketing, journalism, graphic design, interaction design, visual communications or advertising, yet not required. Must have some college.

-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Analytical, focused and detail oriented
-Maintain a 40+ hour work week during normal business hours at the office in Bangor, Maine
3+ years of experience in a deadline-driven environment

Pay based on experience, $17-$21 an hour.
