Housing Program Administrative Assistant in Orono, ME
Great opportunity with a non-profit making a difference. BASS is recruiting for a Housing Program Administrative Assistant. In this position you will be responsible for assisting to successfully execute the housing counseling/lending and financial capabilities program designed to improve social and economic. This person will primarily be the first point of contact for client inquiries.

Some of the duties to include:

~Maintain client files, both electronic and paper

~Performs Intake on client inquires

~Assists in the design of marketing materials

~Delivers one on one housing counseling, addressing general lending inquiries, and assists with coordinating and delivering group education sessions in different communities

~Assists in ensuring that all activity is in full compliance with local, state and federal regulations

~Completes corresponding data tracking programs for accurately and timely

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 /hour
~Education: Associates Degree Bachelor's Degree in related area of study (e.g. Education/ Social Services I Business / Finance) or an equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.

~Knowledge of personal financial management, basic lending practices and procedures, and understanding of housing loan underwriting preferred.

~A certification in financial education, credit counseling, and additional relevant training required within twelve (12) months.

~Strong communications skills, verbal and written required

~Self-direction, organization, motivation and attention to detail are required.

~Current valid Maine driver's license with safe driving record needed as this position does require travel.
